Subject: Mulvany Attard Associates Launches Version 6 of WinFDS

Mulvany Attard Associates has once again listened to food distributors, manufacturers and processors across North America to provide a Food Industry Specific ERP Software Solution that exceeds the needs of the industry.

“Over the past 18 months, MAA has been working on hundred's of enhancements and new functionality that we are excited to release in WinFDS Version 6” said Victor Attard – President of Mulvany Attard Associates. “As the front line users of Food Industry ERP Software, we have listened to the suggestions and requests for specific functionality from our client’s and the food industry. That’s what makes WinFDS Version 6 the most robust, full featured industry specific software on the market today” said Attard.

With the newly released WinFDS V6 and WinFDS SaaS (Software as a Service) which was released earlier this year, any organization now has the ability to acquire a Food Industry Specific ERP Solution that’s within their budget.

Among some of the new exciting additions to WinFDS Version 6 are pre-authorized debit and automatic credit card payments, pallet picking, operator reminders and allocation of Closed Inventory. Four modules including; Security, Email, Report Writer, and Master File Changes that were all considered add-ons in previous versions are now included as part of the core package of Version 6. Perhaps one of the most significant enhancements to WinFDS Version 6 is the work performed on the Warehouse Management module. “The work performed in the Warehouse Management module has put us above the rest” said Attard. “At a cost that is minimal compared to other Warehouse Management systems in the industry today, our Warehouse Management module is totally integrated to WinFDS” Attard went on to say. Numerous enhancements throughout WinFDS V6 make the operator more efficient and the software even more user friendly.

Founded in 1978, Mulvany Attard Associates has emerged as one of the most respected names in food industry specific software, providing its product, WinFDS, exclusively to companies involved in the distribution, processing and/or manufacturing of food products. Subject: Mulvany Attard Associates Celebrates Thirtieth Anniversary Serving Up Innovation in Food Industry Specific Software

Finding the best way to integrate and optimize inventory control, order processing, warehouse, accounting and manufacturing functions may be an on-going challenge for many food-based companies, but to food industry software experts Mulvany Attard Associates it’s old hat.

“We’ve been contributing to this industry for many years,” says Victor Attard, Mulvany Attard Associates president. “2008 represents a milestone year for our company. It marks the thirtieth year our food industry specific software program has been in use by the industry.”

Not content to rest on the merits of its past success, Mulvany Attard is celebrating its 30th anniversary in business by announcing the launch of its newest software offering, WinFDS SaaS, commencing in January 2008.

WinFDS SaaS (Software as a Service) represents the next logical extension of our software product,” says Attard. “Customers can now decide which acquisition model works best for them – either the traditional model of purchasing our software outright, or our SaaS model. SaaS appeals to those clients who prefer to pay for their software on a monthly, per-user basis. With completely open terms of agreement and the ability to write off the software as an operating expense versus a capital expenditure, significant savings can be achieved. We’re very excited about WinFDS SaaS and the positive reception it has received from the food industry prior to its official launch.”

Adds Michael Benedick, MAA’s Operations Manager: “Over the years, we’ve noticed many companies tend to underestimate the amount of money they must spend in order to keep their software, computer systems and infrastructure current. This isn’t surprising, considering resources for new hardware and software is often quite limited. SaaS provides the perfect solution for companies in this position. The software provides all the necessary management tools a food company needs to expand their business within a short period of time. Since there is no up-front capital outlay, WinFDS SaaS contributes almost immediately to the company’s bottom line, with Mulvany Attard assuming all support, training, hosting and data security concerns.”

Founded in 1978, Mulvany Attard Associates has emerged as one of the top respected names in food industry specific software, providing its solution, WinFDS, exclusively to companies involved in the distribution, processing and/or manufacturing of food products.
